Advice for CRICOS schools during coronavirus

4 May 2020

A student’s location or the school’s delivery mode should not prevent a student gaining an Australian qualification. This has been stated in PRISMS ‘News’ by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment.

We are confident that measures put in place by schools, such as online learning, are enabling full-fee-paying international students to continue their studies during the COVID-19 outbreak.

For schools currently preparing their CRICOS evidence summary

The temporary need for students to learn and be assessed online is okay. You can still meet the requirements of Standard 8 of the National Code of Practice 2018. This is because online learning is not for the full course of their study.

Please contact the Education Standards Board on 8226 1215 if you have any questions or need help with your application.
