Incident and complaint notifications

When services submit an incident or complaint notification online through the NQA ITS portal, they receive an acknowledgement email containing a reference number.The notification submission is forwarded to the Education Standards Board for assessment.

Acknowledgement emails will no longer be sent by the Education Standards Board. Contact will only occur if additional information is required or further inquiries are necessary. This should help reduce the messages providers receive.

Providers are also reminded that it is beneficial to ensure that more than one member of staff is familiar with the submission process for notifications particularly when other key staff are absent or unavailable.
