* You must commit to the full 12 hours - but if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to a friend/colleague, just let us know that's what you want to do.
* The $30 fee will be refunded if there are not enough people to run the course. But if you fail to attend, there will be no refund provided (see transfer option above)
This course teaches adults how to provide initial support to a person developing a mental health problem, experiencing worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

As a participant you will gain knowledge of mental illnesses and their interventions, knowledge of appropriate first aid strategies, and confidence in providing first aid to individuals with a mental health problem.

This is a 12 hour course delivered over 2 days and there are no prerequisites.

This course will be acilitated by Tamara Wilson.Tamara is the founder of PS My Family Matters Inc. This is an organisation that supports Carers of a person with Mental Illness. Tamara also is Treasurer for HALT - Hope Assistance Local Tradies. And co-owner of Talking Healthy Minds. Offering Training across Victoria

Wednesday 23rd & Thursday 24th February from 9am-4pm each day.You must be able to attend both days in full.

This course is heavily subsidised by Central Victorian Primary Care Partnership so cost is only $30.
