2024 Early Childhood Education and Care Survey 

In early May, ACECQA, on the ESB's behalf, will release a sector feedback survey to all South Australian Approved Providers, the first of a four-year annual survey. 

In 2024, New South Wales and South Australia are participating in the survey, meaning that a number of approved providers may receive two separate survey requests on how they are experiencing delivery of the regulatory functions of the National Quality Framework if they operate services in both New South Wales and South Australia. 

It is expected that the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be open for: 

• Approved Providers
• Leadership of a service including manager, director, coordinator or nominated supervisor; or 
• Early Childhood teacher, educator or other staff member to complete. 

This survey gives the ESB an opportunity to reflect each year on its engagement with the sector and your regulatory experience of the ESB.  

The ESB encourages all providers and services to complete the survey, which will be sent by ACECQA to all Approved Providers who will distribute to their staff. The survey is open from 6 May until 11 June 2024.

A final report is expected in July. The results will be tabled at the Regulatory Roundtable for discussion and results will also be released to the sector.
