Regulatory Officer Recruitment information session
The Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care emphasised the importance of the Education Standards Board’s (ESB) role as a regulator and ensuring we stay up to date with the workload of assessment and ratings.
So far this year, we have recruited 9 new staff with regulatory skills and experiences, including in assessing quality and compliance across several other local, state and federal government agencies, from a number of industries and the Early Childhood Sector.
We will appoint another 10 Regulatory Officers (RO) in the coming months to bring our total team to 26. This will support us to meet the requirements of the Royal Commission, including clearing the backlog of services rated under the 2012 National Quality Standards, and assessing and rating services every three years.
The ESB will be running 3 RO information sessions throughout August and September.
- Wednesday 28 August (in person and online) – register to attend in person, or register to attend online
- Wednesday 18 September (online) – register here
- Wednesday 25 September (in person) – register here
In these sessions, ROs share insights into how they undertake a service visit and assess an application as well as what’s involved in the 14-week induction program.
If you’ve ever wondered what happens in a day in the life of a RO, this is your chance to find out!
Sessions run for approximately 90 mins with light refreshments provided.
Please register via Eventbrite.
