September update from the Chief Executive

This month we said thank you to early childhood educators for their work in providing all children with safe and inclusive environments to learn and thrive. Watch this short video to hear warm regards from leaders across the nation.

In our September Bulletin, we share new resources that have been released to support educators and parents. This includes revised Staying Healthy guidelines from the National Health and Medical Research Council, a series published to provide guidance to parents and teachers of students with disability and links to the Words Grow Minds initiative from Raising Literacy Australia.

We have highlighted how the Guide to the National Quality Framework resource can help Family Day Care services and educators proactively improve in Elements of the National Quality Standard that have been identified as requiring improvement nationally.

We also acknowledged National Child Protection Week, providing an opportunity for conversation and deeper thinking on how the safety of children and young people in Australia is a responsibility for everyone.
