Information session: Regulatory Officer recruitment and training

28 June 2024

The ESB is holding an in-person information session to provide insights into the role of Regulatory Officers, who carry out the important work of assessing and rating early childhood education and care services and assessing applications.

The information session will share information about the work of a Regulatory Officer, including insights into how we undertake a service visit and assess an application, as well as what’s involved in the induction program.

Attendees will also be able to talk with team leaders about what the role involves and network over refreshments in our CBD office.

To support new Regulatory Officers, the ESB has designed and implemented a 14-week induction program, which includes an overview of the sector, the National Quality Framework, professional development from the Australian and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) on regulatory practice and Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority’s (ACECQA) Authorised Officer training.

The session will be held on 16 July 2024 at 6:30pm – 8:00pm at Level 6, 131-139 Grenfell Street Adelaide and also online. Please register at the link below and forward to any colleagues or others who may be interested in attending.
